On June 22, 2026, Solidarité et Sourires d’Enfants (SSE) hosted its first charity gala in Bali, in collaboration with Bali Baby Home and with the support of numerous partners and volunteers.

Held at FINNS Beach Club, the event aimed to raise funds in support of the projects supported by SSE and Bali Baby Home, while also raising awareness of the needs of the children cared for by Bali Baby Home and introducing the association’s work to a wider audience.

The evening brought together 96 guests, exceeding our initial target of 80 participants.

The programme included presentations, musical performances, a documentary about Bali Baby Home, an overview of its activities and impact, a Q&A session, an art exhibition, a charity raffle and opportunities for guests to meet and connect with the team.

Thanks to the generosity and involvement of our guests, partners, sponsors and volunteers, the event generated €3,136 in revenue, with €2,495.29 in expenses, resulting in a net surplus of €640.71.

Beyond the financial results, the gala provided an opportunity to introduce guests to the work of Bali Baby Home and the programmes supported by SSE, while creating new connections with potential donors, partners and supporters.

This experience represents an important first step for SSE in developing future fundraising and awareness events, both in France and internationally.
